As part of a larger research project exploring decoloniality and the structural limits of the socially engaged arts sector, Ali is collaborating with institutions to develop a zine library of decolonial, disobedient governance tactics in the sector.

On the final day on the Common Purpose Legacy leadership programme for young leaders Ali facilitated a group of young people aged 18 - 25 to develop a business plan based on ideas of allyship to present to a panel of esteemed business professionals and politicians.

Ali has spoken on multiple panels with Arts and Disability Ireland discussing access to funding, the value of Arts and Disability Connect funding and her practice in the sector.

As part of her role working with Creative Ireland in the Dublin City Council Arts Office Ali spoke at the launch of the Creative Ireland Health and Wellbeing funding in May 2022 regarding social prescribing and the upcoming work being done at St. Agnes' CCMA under this new scheme.

As part of the inaugural Disrupt Disability Festival Ali performed her solo work 'Future Nostalgia' and spoke on the artist panel regarding the intricacies of navigating the artistic world as a dancer with a disability.

Facilitating a five-day program accompanying the cirqu'Aarau festival: The program aims to contribute to the qualification of Swiss circus artists in the areas of dissemination and internationalisation.

STRP Festival Eindhoven 2020

In April 2020, Ali spoke at the Art and Technology festival in Eindhoven, the Netherlands during the lecture series Being Emotional. She spoke on the subject of loneliness and the associated risks and the impact of art as a prescription.

Friday Night Live 24th September 2021

Ali joined presenter Dave Morrissey in his regular show Friday Night Live to speak about her work as a choreographer with a focus on audience engagement and participation as part of the creative process and performance.
