        2024Arts and Disability Ireland This research explores the historical & contemporary treatment of women in the mental health care systems through a mix of academic, poetic and choreographic lenses with Dr. Alysia Harris and Dr. Brendan Kelly.

        2023Arts and Disability Ireland This research award allows for research into mental health in the Arts Sector in Ireland, in collaboration with academic Elena Kreusch and psychologist Nichola Crawford.

        2022Next Generation Award The Next Generation Bursary from the Irish Arts Council awards €25000 to 20 early stage artists working in Ireland. This bursary supports Ali in developing the immersive elements of her work.

        2022Arts Council Project Award This award will fund the production of the immersive dance solo What Is Not Ours To Carry which will premiere in the Mermaid Arts Centre in September 2023.

        2022Axis Theatre Play:Ground Bursary This bursary for disabled artists runs alongside the Axis Theatre’s Assemble program which supports early stage artists in the creation and development of new work

        2022Dance Ireland Access Award This awards Ali with access costs to cover her residency in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre. This will support her upcoming solo What Is Not Ours To Carry

        2022Tyrone Guthie Centre McB Bursary This bursary supports a two week residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Monaghan. During this time Ali will work on her upcoming solo What Is Not Ours To Carry.

        2022Wicklow Artist Award This award supports the development of Multitudes, an immersive interdisciplinary work which premieres on 29th October 2022 in the Courthouse Arts Centre in Tinahely.

        2021Arts Council Ireland Dance Bursary This year long bursary award allows Ali space and time to research interactive choreographic practices with Inaki Azpillaga, Paul Halfertry & Elena Kreusch.

        2021Wicklow Artists Award This award offers Ali funding to take the first steps in the research and production of a new work-in-progress in collaboration with the Courthouse Arts Centre in Tinahely. Ali will finish this research in November 2021.

        2020Dance Ireland Launch Pad Award The LaunchPad Award is part of Dance Ireland's strategy to support its Members, it acts as a support to the progression of their careers through innovative approaches. Ali’s award offered funded her to digitalise her work.

        2020Arts Council Ireland Professional Development Award Ali was awarded this funding to take part in a mentorship with Ricardo Ambrozio to learn the art of choreographing for camera. The results can be seen in the video Devour.

        2019Café Theater Festival Research Award This award commissioned the creation of a new work in the Overvecht district of Utrecht in the Netherlands. The Sensitive Future 2.0.0 premiered in February 2020 as a special part of the annual arts festival.

        2019Jacques de Leeuw Award Nomination Ali was nominated to represent the field of dance performance this award. She took part in the six month long process of presentations, interviews and performances. Her work was nominated for its innovative interactive practices.

        2019Chassé Theater and Podium Bloos Cultuur Award This award commissioned the creation of Internal Jogging which premiered at Chassé Theater in January 2020. Ali is still supported in her work by both partners.

        2019Theaterfestival Boulevard Entreé Prijs Nomination This nomination for the young talent award during the Dutch festival Theaterfestival Boulevard related to the work It’s Didn’t Start With Us. The work was performed during the festival.

        2019Keep An Eye Award for Circus Ali was nominated for a Keep An Eye Circus Award for her work Acoustic Resonance in 2019. As a part of this process she worked with producer Elena Kreusch who has continued to be a part of Ali’s close network.

        2018Café Theater Festival Jury Prize for Young Audiences Awarded for the success of It Didn’t Start With Us at the Café Theater Festival 2018. The award offered a residency at Cultuur 19 ,Utrecht and performance opportunities in NL..
